Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul Netflix stream crashes leaving fans raging

by · Birmingham Live

Boxing enthusiasts were left seething as Netflix encountered difficulties streaming the highly anticipated Mike Tyson vs Jake Paul fight.

One disgruntled viewer remarked: "If Netflix doesn't fix this buffering issue, this will go down as one of the biggest fails in all of TV/streaming history."

Another fan expressed frustration, saying: "First time I've sat down to watch boxing on forever and Netflix keeps freezing up and buffering...."

A user inquired: "Is Netflix down for everybody???? Literally my stuff will not load."

Another added: "Hey, is anyone else having server and bandwidth issues with Netflix?"

"Pixels have ramped down to 1995 TV level and it keeps buffering..." another fan commented.

"Netflix has crashed! We have been buffering at 25 per cent for 10 minutes and now frozen. It's not my network. We are pushing 250 mbs," said another. Others chimed in with similar complaints, stating: "Mine just stopped. Not having high hopes for seeing the main bout" and "Hundred thousand people watching this are having the exact same problem".

Netflix made the surprise announcement that they were entering the boxing business in March when Tyson's fight with Paul was first revealed.

Tyson was then forced to postpone the bout by four months when he suffered an inflamed ulcer on a flight from Miami to Los Angeles. The former undisputed heavyweight world champion collapsed in the bathroom and began coughing up blood.

He recovered and rescheduled his first fight in four years - and his first professional outing in almost 20 - and will take on YouTuber Paul later tonight. Tyson is giving away 31 years to his rival but has convinced fans and pundits he can roll back the years.

Netflix also suffered audio problems earlier in the night when Evander Holyfield could not hear questions put to him by host Kate Scott, who was forced to apologise. "Evander, I apologise," she said. "I'm so sorry about the sound. Lennox, thank you for helping us out with the interview. We appreciate you. Good to see you tonight. Good to see both of you champions with us tonight."
