Dongfeng Nissan, an equal joint venture between Dongfeng Motor Group and Nissan Motors, has unveiled the N7 electric sedan at this year’s Auto Guangzhou.

Set to go on sale in China in the first half of 2025, the N7 was previously previewed by the Nissan Epoch Concept at the Beijing Motor Show in April. It is the first model to be built on the company’s new modular architecture designed exclusively for electrified vehicles, with development and production taking place entirely in China.

Measuring 4,930 mm long, 1,895 mm wide, 1,487 mm tall and with a wheelbase spanning 2,915 mm, the N7 is referred to by Dongfeng Nissan as a medium-large sedan with a spacious cabin. The brand’s V-motion design signature is used here, with notable cues being a full-width light bar sitting above small headlamps at the front.

Other highlights include a sleek silhouette and flush door handles to help with aerodynamic efficiency, slim taillights as well as frameless doors. No shots of the interior were provided but we’re told that the infotainment system will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P chip for a seamless connected experience.

The company also points out it partnered with Momenta, a leader in autonomous driving technology in China, to equip the N7 with an advanced driver assistance system called ‘Navigate on Autopilot.’ Details relating to available powertrains and electric range weren’t provided in the company’s official release.

The N7 marks the introduction of the first completely new, all-electric model in China as part of The Arc, Nissan’s midterm plan which aims to accelerate the development and export of new energy vehicles from China.
