Boniface set to lose Bayer Leverkusen manager, Xabi Alonso to Real Madrid

According to EuroSport Spain, Xabi Alonso is set to leave the Bundesliga champions at the end of this campaign.
Alonso has emerged as one of the most highly sought after young coaches in Europe, after leading Leverkusen to a domestic invincible season last term.
The former midfielder’s current contract with the German club runs out in summer 2026.
However, it is understood that he will in fact depart a year earlier.
Alonso is now hotly tipped to replace Carlo Ancelotti at Real Madrid.
Ancelotti’s men have begun this season in unimpressive form both in LaLiga and the Champions League, with speculations already swirling over the Italian’s future at the Bernabeu.
