The Nation: The disarray in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is a major factor that gave Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa total victory in Saturday’s Ondo State governorship election, it was learnt. Other factors include the unity of All Progressives Congress (APC) senior figures in the states, including former aspirants, and the belief that Aiyedatiwa is spending one term, which made likely aspirants to line up behind him.
Daily Trust: The Presidency has kept silent on the criticisms of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reforms by former President Olusegun Obasanjo and the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
